Constellations

“Twinkle twinkle little star

I so much wonder what you are

Up above the world so high

Like a mystery, but answering the reason to its why!”

I look upto to the sky, not in the anticipation of it clinching my most deep desires but this time to connect the dots, or better the stars.

The first star I see in the sky is Sirius, I reckon it to be my grandmother. It’s the most incandescent of all and it’s sending its light to me to tell that “if you’re the brightest, you don’t need to assert it, just be wherever you are and keep spreading your light.”

Ophiuchus is the rarest to be seen and so was my grandfather. Papa is the shield of the Orion, for he protects me from the evils of the sky. And from wherever I’d look up, he shall always be found.

Mumma plays Ursa Major and my brother plays the minor version. They might not well represent Callisto and her son, but they shall always stay together, not to forget, with the courtesy of Zeus. Well, I can be their Zeus.

I’ve even got Centaurus, Cassiopeia, Crux and Lynx in my skies. They visit me all around the orbit of earth. Precisely they are the one who always stays. Then there are some by the name Leo, Draco or Lupus. They happen to be like friends.

Nevertheless you are still welcome to be my Andromeda ;)

Though,

I don’t know if constellations are just another of human’s obsession to patterns but if they are there telling some story then I’m all ears.

And I look up to find the the most beautiful constellation because when I won’t be here anymore, I want to be a part of it. I believe this is where my grandpa, my grandma and my brother lives.
